How many participants do you serve?
In 2006, the Outdoors for All Foundation served more than 2000 participants with disabilities.
How many volunteers are involved?
In 2004, over 600 volunteers made it possible for Oudoors for All to pursue our mission.
Where do you receive your funding?
Approximately 60% of our funding comes from private fundraising, the other 40% comes in the form of participant registration fees. Less than 2% of our annual budget comes from governmental sources. Financial aid is available.
What kind of disabilities do the Outdoors for All participants have?
Outdoors for All serves participants with varying ability levels. Disabilities include physical, sensory, and cognitive.
How old do you have to be to participate?
Our participants are typically ages 5 and up.
How old do you have to be to volunteer?
We generally ask that our volunteers are age 15 and up, though exceptions can be made.
What sports do you offer?
Outdoors for All offers hiking, cycling, in-line skating, rock-climbing, water-skiing sports, canoeing, kayaking, river rafting, day camps, camping trips, downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing.
Where are your activities?
We primarily offer activities throughout the Greater Puget Sound region, though some of our programs take us across the state.
