Kris Christensen
Kris served as an Outdoors for All volunteer beginning when he was fourteen years old. Then, he never imagined he would work in the adaptive recreation industry. He’s a Pacific Northwest boy, enjoying everything the Salish Sea and surrounding forests and mountain have to offer. Kris has worked in the bike industry multiple years, taught skiing in the winter and throws in guiding here and there in British Columbia and Washington.
Passionate about anything that involves speed and precision, Kris is a Nationally-ranked gravity mountain bike racer, traveling up and down the West coast every weekend. When he’s not on a bike, he’s skiing fresh lines, climbing new problems and paddling. An amateur photographer, Kris enjoys capturing the beautiful environment he plays in.
Interning for his university program, Kris got hooked working with individuals with disabilities after a summer of Outdoors for All day camp. He thoroughly enjoys sharing his passion of the outdoors and seeing smiles on the faces of his participants. He finished school at Capilano University in British Columbia with Outdoor Recreation Management and Wilderness Leadership. He continues to finish his education in Parks and Outdoor Recreation Management while working with Outdoors for All.
