INTRODUCING THIS YEAR'S GALA AUCTION HONOREE!
The 2009 Gala Auction will celebrate The Summit at Snoqualmie for their extraordinary and longstanding commitment to children and adults with disabilities. For 30 years, The Summit at Snoqualmie has supported Outdoors for All as both a ski resort and more importantly as a community partner; sponsoring numerous events, volunteer activities and being represented on Outdoors for All's Board of Directors.
The Outdoors for All Foundation and The Summit at Snoqualmie began its longstanding partnership, unknowingly, in 1978 with fifteen children with disabilities learning to downhill ski Snoqualmie Summit. After a successful first season, the program was incorporated as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1979, originally called the SKIFORALL Foundation. And now, in 2009, The Summit at Snoqualmie still stands strong as a continued supporter and partner of the mission of Outdoors for All.
